ASME SA335 (corresponding to ASTM A335) is a standard for seamless ferritic alloy steel pipes for high temperature applications, and P5 is a material grade under this standard. ASME SA335 P5 alloy steel seamless pipe is a seamless steel pipe widely used in high-temperature and high-pressure environments, and belongs to the material standard of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC). Mainly used in high-temperature and high-pressure environments such as power plant boilers, petrochemicals, and thermal equipment, such as steam pipelines, superheaters, reheaters, etc.


ASME SA335 P5 alloy steel seamless pipes have a wide range of specifications and sizes, with an outer diameter range of 60.3~765mm and a wall thickness range of 2~120mm. Commonly used specifications and diameters include 60.3, 73, 88.9, and other sizes, and can also be customized according to customers' special needs. The manufacturing process is seamless by hot rolling or cold drawing. The delivery status is usually complete annealing or isothermal annealing, normalizing+tempering, and different delivery statuses can affect the internal structure and properties of the steel pipe. The inspection requirements include chemical composition analysis, mechanical property testing (tensile, hardness), non-destructive testing (ultrasonic, eddy current or hydrostatic testing), and metallographic structure inspection, etc.
