30G Dental Needle, Double-end Bevelled-tip Needle Tube For Dental Treatment, 0.3*36MM

Dental needles are specialized tools used primarily for administering local anesthetics in dental procedures. These needles can also used to remove tartar and plaque from patients'teeth. Our company specializes in different kinds of dental needles with different needle shapes, like double-end grinding needle(one end is flat bevel tip, the other end is tri-bevelled tip), single foramina needle, two-hole needle, L-shaped half-open needle, etc. We can also customize needles which have special needle shape and point to meet client's requirement. In addition to dental needles, we also provide other needles like injection needle, spinal needle, blood collection needle, blunt needle, hypodermic needle, insulin needle, veterinary needle and so on. Our medical needles are produced by high-quality stainless steel material gardes like SUS304, 316L. And our quality system is ISO13485 certificated.

Dental needles are  usually used for two main situations:

to numb an area before a dental procedure is performed

to remove plaque and tartar from teeth.

Types of Dental Needles

1.Gauge Size:

25G: Thicker needle, used for deep injections (eg, inferior alveolar nerve block).

27G: Medium thickness, common for routine procedures (eg, maxillary infiltrations).

30G: Thinnest commonly used needle, ideal for superficial injections (eg, palatal or gingival areas).

2.Length:

Short needles (10–20 mm): For shallow injections (eg, periodontal ligament injections).

Long needles (30–35 mm): For deeper tissue penetration (eg., mandibular blocks)

Important Factors to Consider When Selecting Dental Needles:
1.Length and Gauge:
The needle size is an essential factor. A longer needle is necessary for deeper injections, while a shorter one is mainly used for surface injections. The needle gauge depends on the procedure and patient’s comfort level. Thinner needles are more comfortable and less painful but they require more pressure when injecting, while thicker needles are more painful but they're easier to administer.

2.Patient’s Age and Condition:

The patient’s age and overall health situation are important to be considered when selecting the needle. Pediatric patients need shorter, thinner needle. For old patients or those people who have compromised health, using needles which can minimize patients' tissue trauma and pain is crucial.

3.Type of Procedure:
The type of dental procedure also influences the choice of needles. Normal fillings require short, thin needles, while procedures like extractions and root canals need longer, thicker needles.

4.Location of Injection:
The injection site influences the needle selection. For areas with dense tissue, like palate, a shorter, thicker needle ensures proper anesthetic delivery. And the injections in the buccal mucosa need softer, thinner, longer needles.

Common Applications:

  • Restorative Procedures: Numbing teeth for fillings.
  • Extractions: Anesthetizing teeth prior to removal.
  • Endodontics: Root canal therapy.
  • Periodontal Surgery: Gum tissue anesthesia.
