1. Brief Introduction

 


 ASTM B407 N08810 (UNS N08810) is a high-performance nickel-iron-chromium alloy designed for high temperature and highly corrosive environments.

 

Its excellent oxidation, carburization, and sulfidation resistance make it a core material for the petrochemical, nuclear power, and heat treatment industries.

 

The alloy achieves high-temperature strength through solid solution strengthening and can be used stably for a long time below 650°C.

Note: Mechanical properties can be optimized by solution annealing (1050-1150°C water cooling).

5. Key advantages

 

  • High temperature performance: Maintains high strength in the range of 600-800°C, and has excellent creep resistance.

 

  • Corrosion resistance: Resistant to H₂S, Cl⁻, sulfuric acid and nitric acid environments, and resists chloride stress corrosion cracking (Cl-SCC).

 

  • Oxidation resistance: A dense Cr₂O₃ oxide film is formed on the surface, and the oxidation resistance temperature reaches 1100°C.

 

  • Processing performance: Can be cold/hot formed, and welding is compatible with TIG, MIG and arc welding (ERNiCr-3 welding materials are recommended).

  • Petroleum and natural gas: cracking furnace tubes, hydrogenation reactors, sulfur recovery units.

 

  • Chemical equipment: acid regeneration systems, high-temperature reactors, nitric acid condensers.
